Business Communities:

BNI.com - Business Network International is perhaps the best known professional networking group, with chapters worldwide. Members gain the benefit of sales tools, seminars, and the use of their entire chapter as a referral base through weekly meetings.

PCMAonline.com - The Professional Coaches and Mentors Association is a nonprofit organization that serves business and organizational coaches and mentors. Its mission is to challenge, inspire and educate its members to develop the profession and help create successful practices. There is an annual conference and local chapters throughout California that meet monthly.

LinkedIn.com - LinkedIn is an online networking community that features referrals, recommendations, job postings, and more. My favorite feature is that once you post your resume, it will notify you of all the classmates and colleagues that attended the same places as you at the same time. It's a great way to find all the people that you've lost touch with over the years.

Women Business Owners:

NAFE.com - The National Association for Female Executives is one of the largest women's professional association and the largest women business owners' organization in the country, provides resources and services - through education, networking, and public advocacy - to empower its members to achieve career success and financial security

NAWBO.org - The National Association of Women Business Owners helps women evolve their businesses by sharing resources and providing a single voice to shape economic and public policy. NAWBO's strength comes from the diversity of its membership - all sizes from sole proprietorship to hundreds of employees, every business industry from construction, importers, and retailers to service providers, and in all areas of the country.

WITI.com - The mission of Women in Technology International is to empower women worldwide to achieve unimagined possibilities and transformations through technology, leadership, and economic prosperity. It offers classes, resources, and regional networks.

eWomenNetwork.com - eWomenNetwork is a resource for connecting and promoting women and their businesses worldwide through online listings and local chapters. They provide a comprehensive suite of marketing and promotion services to help women achieve, succeed and prosper.

BABWnews.com - Bay Area Business Women News provides both a news magazine and an ezine for connecting women in commerce, community, and the arts in the San Francisco area. Highlights are listings of job leads, business opportunities, and advertising for women-owned businesses.

ConnectionsCa.com - Connections is a San Francisco Bay Area-based nonprofit organization that serves women through community service and education. It provides a forum for women in business to network and support each other for mutual success.

Values-Based Social Change:

ThePresidioDialogues.org - The Presidio Dialogues hosts regular public gatherings in the San Francisco Bay Area intended to stimulate holistic thinking and healthy lifestyles in the world of business. The programs bridge the esoteric arenas of higher consciousness and human spirituality with the pragmatic demands of commercial enterprise.

EECoM.net - The Environmental Educational Council of Marin is a coalition of businesses, schools, and non-profit organizations devoted to implementing sound ecological practices and promoting environmental education in Marin County, San Francisco Bay Area. Members meet regularly to exchange information, share skills and develop new projects that can be addressed collaboratively.

SVN.org - The Social Venture Network is a nonprofit network committed to building a just and sustainable world through business. SVN promotes new models and leadership for socially and environmentally sustainable business in the 21st century. They champion this effort through initiatives, information services and forums that strengthen the community and empower members to work together on behalf of their shared vision.

SpiritAtWork.org - The Association for Spirit at Work is a non-profit association of people and organizations who are interested in the study and/or practice of spirituality in the workplace. The mission of the Association for Spirit at Work is to provide community, information, and education, for those who are integrating their work and their spirituality and for those who are called to support societal transformation through organizational development and change. It offers chapters worldwide.

SpiritInBusiness.org - The mission of Spirit in Business is to connect leaders, entrepreneurs and other change agents in a global community of inquiry, learning and action, to release our creative power in the interest of our enterprises and the whole.
